Robert Krutsch is CTO of Edge AI and ADAS at NXP Semiconductors, where he leads the development of advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving solutions, with a particular focus on vehicle-level artificial intelligence. He brings deep industry expertise accumulated across senior roles at Aptiv and Zenuity/Volvo, where he served as Chief Architect. His work has consistently sat at the intersection of safety-critical embedded systems and cutting-edge AI research. Robert holds more than 25 patents and has authored books and articles on signal and image processing. He is passionate about advancing machine learning applications in computer vision and natural language processing. He holds a Diplom-Ingenieur from Politehnica University of Timișoara and the University of Bremen.
