A self-confessed “radio fanatic,” Craig Herrett’s career has been driven by a fascination with wireless connectivity. His early work with Wi-Fi fueled a passion for point-to-point and multipoint links, specifically the speed and low latency at which data can be delivered. This expertise led Craig and his fellow founding members to establish Alliot Technologies, focusing on the transformative potential of LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Networks).
With over a decade of experience in the technology sector, Craig has been a pivotal figure in the development of Alliot since its inception. In January 2025, he was appointed Managing Director, taking the helm to lead the company’s strategic development and accelerate its growth. He is now focused on positioning Alliot as a leader in the IoT space, driving innovation and expanding the business’s market reach.
Outside of his professional life, Craig is an active outdoor enthusiast. Based in Essex, he can often be found competing in obstacle course races, water skiing, or camping with his wife, their three children, and their dog, Luna.
