Joseph is the Director, Field CTO for Akamai Cloud. Joseph has been involved with information technology since the early 2000s when he worked for AT&T. More recently, Joseph spent his last 8+ years at Amazon Web Services, demonstrating his ability to consistently contribute to revenue growth and increase customer ROI by spearheading the adoption of cloud-based solutions and evangelizing both AWS and partner solutions at industrial events such as HPC Summit, Cisco Live, and AWS re:Invent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is currently responsible for Akamai\u2019s North America Cloud Computing Evangelism, engaging in advocacy, community engagement, customer interaction, feedback loop, thought leadership, sales support, and strategy development to help our customers address the rapidly changing Cloud and Edge computing industry and grow Akamai\u2019s market share as we enter the cloud computing space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He holds a Graduate Certificate in Signal\/Geospatial Intelligence from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from McMurry University. He also demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning and professional development with multiple certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional and AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When not at work, you can always find Joseph cooking outdoors and spending time with his wife and two children or on a road bike, somewhere in north Texas, blazing the open plains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
